Meet Our Teachers

Sharon Evangelista

Secondary English Teacher

Since graduating from Adelaide University in 2002, I have been working as a secondary teacher in a career spanning three countries. In the mid 1990s, before completing my teacher studies, I taught academic writing at Flinders University (South Australia) after taking my Bachelor of Arts and Honours degrees. In eight years of working in the international system, I have taught English Language and Literature (and some humanities) under the UK and the Cambridge curricula. During my time in Bangkok, I also led an English teacher’s group for Professional Development. I take pride in the knowledge that students who have attended my classes now study in universities around the world, making a difference to their lives and communities. This is also my hope for Network students.
