Yasmeen Russul Saib

Year 5 Chameleons

I completed my Primary Education degree at Manchester Metropolitan University. Though I am a qualified Primary Teacher, I have been teaching for 4 years in an inner-city High School in Manchester as the SEN Transition Teacher working with Year 7 and 8 pupils. I have taught a class of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Dyslexia and Hearing Impairment. I also acquired leadership positions as Curriculum Area Leader of Transition and Primary Liaison Leader. Prior to my teaching career, I worked as a Legal Secretary for an International Law Firm in London for four years. I’m looking forward to living in Myanmar and experiencing a new culture. I am excited to meet staff and students and look forward to contributing to inspiring the young minds of today within an exciting school!
