Teaching & Learning
Meet Our Staff
I am very excited to have joined the Network International School team as a member of the science department. My career as a teacher began in a secondary school in Melbourne, Australia where I taught science and mathematics before later moving to work within a number of schools across the UK. Before teaching I completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry at Flinders University in my home city of Adelaide, Australia, after which I made the shift into education and completed a Master of Teaching (Secondary) in collaboration with both the University of Melbourne in Australia and the University of Oulu in northern Finland. I am very excited to now be based in Yangon and working with the excellent staff and students here at Network. I believe science offers an innumerable number of skills that benefit all students irrespective of the pathways they take, from problem solving and critical thinking to the ability to draw logical conclusions from empirical evidence. I greatly look forward to helping the students in their development of these skills and in facilitating their curiosity and interest in the sciences.
