Teaching & Learning
Meet Our Staff
Head of Early Years, Foundation 2 Butterflies
I am a teacher from London, England and this will be my fifth year teaching at Network but my ninth overall. I have a BA degree in English Literature and studied for my PGCE at Goldsmiths University where I specialised in Early Years Foundation Stage. I am very passionate about teaching in the Foundation Stage, and always feel honoured to work with teams who are the first to harbour children’s love of learning through play and witness the huge developmental breakthroughs that happen at a young age. My love of travelling and teaching has led me to teaching in London, Peru and volunteer teacher training in Uganda before settling in Yangon. Myanmar is very special to me and I have enjoyed the opportunity to travel to the many beautiful areas. During my time at Network I have taught across the years within the Foundation Stage and it has been my privilege to witness, support and be part of the growth and development of Network International School. As a successful foundation stage teacher my main aim is to identify and enhance all children’s interests and abilities in a safe, caring and enabling environment. Overall, I wish for all children I teach to gain a thirst for knowledge and become lifelong learners.
