Meet Our Teachers
Foundation 3 InventorsI have been teaching both in the early years and lower primary school setting for the past four years. I received my teaching degree from Roehampton University in London and I specialised in Early Years and Design & Technology. I have really enjoyed teaching children at this young age as I find them fascinating and I admire their eagerness to learn and to understand new and interesting concepts. I like to promote independent learning choices and learning through play for children at this young age. I feel this sparks children’s creativity which in turn can allow them to excel in all areas of their learning. I love to travel and have done so throughout my life. I come from a multicultural family and I feel it is important to learn about new places and to experience different cultures. I feel that international schools are perfect for this as the classrooms become very multinational and therefore the children become open minded and tolerant of any cultural differences. I am also a keen practitioner Yoga, and in my own time have been on various Yoga courses. I like to do some small practises with the children I teach and promote mindfulness in the classroom. I am really looking forward to moving to Yangon and very excited about teaching Foundation students at Network International school.
